With just a few short days until the record appears, this London-based Dane has dropped a treat for us. Featuring the emotive appearance of James Vickery’s soulful croon, ‘I Don’t Wanna Wake Up’ is a cool slice of slow-burning jazz where soft synth lines and airy woodwinds sink into that cushiony rhythm section. Produced by Dahlstrom, her impressive RnB vocal also leap off this laidback recording, which mirrors the dreamy comfort of sleepstate, whether that be metaphorical or literal.
